Training

Your first sparkis never something you do alone.

A laser welding machine is only worth something once your team works with it safely and independently. That is why every purchase includes a full day of training, from the first seam to the daily routine. No machine gathering dust.

Why training

The most expensive mistake.

Laser welding is quick to learn, but a class 4 laser does not forgive improvisation. Wrong parameters, unprotected eyes or a seam that looks good but does not hold: that costs material, time and sometimes far more. Benjamin, with 20 years of welding expertise, explains why training is not an extra, but the difference between a machine that pays for itself and one that gathers dust.

What you will master

Controls &
settings

From welding head to parameters: you set the machine up faultlessly for material, thickness and seam type.

Working safely
with class 4

Certified eye protection, a screened workstation and the right procedures, practised as standard.

From first spark
to a neat seam

Getting the handheld and wire feeder into your fingers, until you lay a clean, strong seam with ease.

Theory &
certification

The knowledge behind the technique, rounded off with a Begea certificate of attendance.

How your training runs

From the day the machine arrives to the moment your team runs independently: one process, one contact person, at your workshop.

Delivery

The machine arrives at your place and takes its spot in your workshop, ready for the training day.

Hands-on at your place

We come over for a full training day at your own workshop, on the seams you weld every day.

Independent & safe

By the end of the training day every operator works on their own, smoothly and safely.

Certification & new colleagues

Every participant receives a certificate of attendance. If someone joins later, we lay on an extra training session.

Proof

A certificate that counts

After the training Begea gives every participant a certificate of attendance. Black-and-white proof that your team works with laser safely and skilfully, for yourself, your customers and your insurer.

Begea Academy
Knowledge platform

Begea Academy

Your training does not stop when we walk out the door. In the Academy you find it all: short how-to videos and step-by-step guides that take you from your first shot to a neat seam, whenever it suits you. 20 years of practice in one place, free for every Begea customer.

Frequently asked questions

The questions customers ask us most about training. Answered briefly and honestly.

  • Yes. Every machine comes with one full day of training, at no separate training cost.

  • We go through the controls, the settings and working safely with class 4, and weld alongside you on the seams you make every day. By the end of the day your operators lay a neat seam on their own.

  • Short. You pick up the controls quickly; the rest of the day goes to fluency, safety and the seams that come back most often in your shop.

  • At your workshop, on your own machine. As soon as it is delivered and set up, we come over for the training day. You learn straight away on the parts you weld every day.

  • Yes. After the training Begea gives every participant a certificate of attendance. Black-and-white proof towards customers and insurers.

  • Experience helps but is not a must. Laser welding is more accessible than TIG. We start from where your team is today.

  • Then we always lay on an extra training session. That way every new operator is as strong as your first team, even years after delivery.
